Bench Design

For my first in-depth architecture project, I decided to put my spin on a

traditional bench design.

Inspired by the importance of collaboration and sustainability, this

bench is designed to encourage people to put down their cell phones

and interact and engage in conversations and life. The bench is composed of a three-sided

booth to foster a social environment. The mockup created in

Lumion and Photoshop shows the bench would be produced utilizing

up-cycled materials such as repurposed wood and stone.

I can see these benches being placed on college campuses, urban

shopping areas or even quiet parks.
